- Evaluate formation and fluid properties that underpin field and reservoir resource estimation, development and management, with clear documentation of fluid distribution and reservoir properties.
- Interpret and evaluate old and new cased-hole logs for casing and tubing integrity.
- Provide geomechanical modelling to support casing design.
- Prepare pore pressure and fracture gradient and shallow hazard assessments for well delivery plans, as required.
- Support well delivery plans on well placement, orientation and data acquisition programmes.
- Plan and supervise log data acquisition in producing wells for flood-front monitoring and reservoir performance optimisation, and propose additional testing for P&A plans.
- Coordinate with Geophysics on quantitative interpretation (QI) work.
- Support C&P in evaluating data acquisition plans.
- Collaborate with geologists, reservoir engineers, production technologists and well engineers to develop exploration, appraisal, development and production strategies.

- Skilled in GeoGraphix software.
Accountabilities
- Contribute to cost-effective core and log data acquisition, analysis and evaluation as part of the Geosciences team.
- Evaluate tubular integrity and zonal isolation for well completions, and recommend remedial cement squeezes where necessary.
- Advise on perforation and completion intervals for optimal reservoir production.
- Deliver quality petrophysical work for field development, drilling, completion and workover activities.
- Contribute to quality delivery of hydrocarbon maturation, resource volume estimation, classification, reporting and assurance.
- Implement well and reservoir management activities that safeguard or optimise asset production potential and long-term ultimate recovery.
- Deliver integrated work with all disciplines and stakeholders, including Wells Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, Production Technologies, partners and regulators.
- Apply appropriate technologies to prepare geosciences inputs for exploration, appraisal, development, well planning and drilling.
- Carry out geosciences operations and well-site duties during drilling and workover programmes, reservoir surveillance and production optimisation follow-up.
