·Plan, supervise, and coordinate all civil engineering
and building construction activities from project commencement to completion.
·Interpret and implement architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering drawings and specifications.
·Oversee site setting-out, surveys, and layout preparation to ensure accuracy before construction activities commence.
·Supervise and coordinate site engineers, builders, contractors, subcontractors, artisans, labourers, and other site personnel to ensure efficient project execution.
·Monitor project schedules and ensure construction activities are completed within approved timelines and budgets.
·Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, the National Building Code, and relevant engineering standards.
·Conduct routine site inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and project requirements.
·Manage construction materials, equipment, and labour resources efficiently to minimise waste and optimise project costs.
·Implement and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and ensure compliance across all project sites.
·Coordinate consultants, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to facilitate smooth project execution.
·Review contractors' work, certify completed works where applicable, and monitor adherence to contractual obligations.
·Identify engineering challenges, project risks, and construction delays, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
·Prepare work programmes, project schedules, progress reports, technical documentation, and management updates.
·Provide technical support for infrastructure works, building maintenance, renovations, and engineering consultancy assignments where required.
·Ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, within budget, and in accordance with agreed timelines.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (B.Eng./B.Sc.) in Civil Engineering.
- Registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in
Nigeria (COREN) is mandatory.
- Membership of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) is required.
- Minimum of 10–15 years' progressive experience in civil
engineering, building construction, and construction project management.
- Must possess extensive hands-on experience supervising building
construction projects, with responsibilities including site coordination,
quality control, interpretation of architectural and structural drawings,
contractor management, and project delivery from foundation to completion.
- Proven experience delivering residential estates, commercial
developments, high-rise buildings, and mixed-use developments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple construction teams and
large-scale projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Project and/or
Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office Suite.
