Purpose Statement

We are seeking an experiencedSenior Capital Markets, Treasury & Portfolio/Fund Management professionalto lead the Company’s treasury, investment, and portfolio activities, drive portfolio growth and profitability, optimize liquidity and returns, manage SEC-approved investment products, and ensure strong regulatory compliance and risk management.

Responsibilities

  1. Identify, originate, evaluate, and execute investment opportunitiesacross approved asset classes, including fixed income, equities, money market instruments, and alternative investments.

  2. Lead the development and execution of the Company’s treasury, investment, and portfolio management strategyto drive sustainable growth, profitability, liquidity, and risk-adjusted returns.

  3. Manage the Company’s investment portfolio and SEC-approved investment products, including asset allocation, security selection, portfolio rebalancing, performance monitoring, and risk management.

  4. Oversee treasury and liquidity management, including cash-flow forecasting, cash positioning, short-term investments, funding requirements, and efficient deployment of surplus funds.

  5. Drive portfolio and revenue growththrough client acquisition, investment mobilization, and effective relationship management across high-net-worth individuals, corporates, institutional investors, and other strategic clients.

  6. Build and manage strategic relationshipswith banks, financial institutions, brokers, custodians, fund managers, institutional investors, regulators, and other capital market stakeholders.

  7. Develop and enhance investment products and solutionsaligned with market opportunities, regulatory requirements, client needs, and the Company’s overall commercial objectives.

  8. Conduct market research, financial analysis, and portfolio reviewsto identify emerging opportunities, assess market risks, optimize returns, and recommend timely strategic adjustments.

  9. Ensure full compliance with SEC regulations, investment guidelines, internal policies, risk frameworks, and industry best practices, while maintaining appropriate controls across treasury and investment activities.

  10. Provide strategic treasury and investment advice to Executive Management and lead the Treasury & Investment team, including preparation of investment proposals, financial forecasts, portfolio performance reports, management reports, and development of team capability as the business grows.


Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree inFinance, Accounting, Economics, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant professional qualifications such asCFA, ACT, ACA/ACCA, CPA, CIS, FRM, or an MBA/Master’s degreeare an added advantage.

  2. Minimum of7 years of progressive experiencein Treasury, Capital Markets, Investment Management, Asset Management, Wealth Management, Corporate Finance, or related financial services, with demonstrated senior-level experience.

  3. Proven track record in managingliquidity, cash positions, funding requirements, investments, and capital market transactionswithin a regulated financial institution or investment environment.

  4. Demonstrated experience indeveloping and executing investment and treasury strategies, driving portfolio growth, optimizing returns, and preserving capital.

  5. Strong knowledge ofmoney and capital market instruments, including Treasury Bills, Commercial Papers, Bonds, Fixed Income Securities, Mutual Funds, Equities, Repos, and other investment products.

  6. Strong expertise inportfolio management, including asset allocation, security selection, portfolio rebalancing, yield optimisation, performance measurement, and risk-adjusted return analysis.

  7. Sound understanding oftreasury and investment risk management, including market, liquidity, interest-rate, credit, and counterparty risks, as well as regulatory requirements, governance, and internal controls.

  8. Stronganalytical and financial modelling skills, with proficiency in spreadsheets, cash-flow forecasting, scenario and sensitivity analysis, investment appraisal, portfolio modelling, and relevant treasury and market tools.

  9. Excellentcommercial judgment, business development, negotiation, leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to engage clients, financial institutions, regulators, and senior management.

  10. SEC Sponsored Individual status or relevant SEC registration is an added advantage.
