At Eni, we are looking for an ICT Specialist to join Nigerian Agip Exploration Ltd. in Abuja. You will be responsible for delivering reliable and effective ICT services and technical support to NAE, ensuring the availability, security, and optimal performance of IT systems, infrastructure, and applications, while supporting business operations and the implementation of new projects.

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day technical support to users and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
  • Monitor and maintain ICT infrastructure, systems, networks, and communication services to ensure business continuity.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of ICT systems and applications in line with business requirements.
  • Provide ICT support for new projects, including system deployment, connectivity, and technology requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company ICT policies, standards, procedures, and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Support user access management, system permissions, and related ICT security controls.
  • Monitor and address cybersecurity risks, vulnerabilities, and incidents in coordination with relevant teams.
  • Coordinate with HQ and external ICT service providers on technical issues, projects, and service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of ICT assets, systems, configurations, and technical documentation.
  • Support data backup, recovery, and business continuity activities.

Skills and experience required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Significant relevant professional experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, systems, and Microsoft technologies.
  • Good understanding of cybersecurity, data protection, and ICT security controls.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and system issues.
  • Experience managing ICT vendors and service providers.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and results-oriented.
