Gokada
Gokada is a Lagos-based logistics and technology company offering on-demand motorcycle courier delivery, business delivery services and food ordering through its superapp.
Gokada is a Nigerian logistics and technology company founded in 2017. It operates what it describes as the country's largest last-mile courier delivery solution, providing on-demand motorcycle delivery of parcels and packages across Lagos, with typical delivery times of 30 minutes to 2 hours. The service is used by more than 10,000 businesses in the city, and the company holds NIPOST licensing and works through a network of verified riders.
The business began as a motorcycle taxi service, launching ride-hailing in January 2018 with eight pilots operating motorcycles, aimed at helping commuters navigate Lagos' traffic congestion. Following a regulatory ban on motorcycles in Lagos, Gokada shifted its emphasis to courier delivery and has since broadened its offering. Its GShop product provides food ordering and delivery, alongside delivery services tailored to business customers.
The company's stated direction is a comprehensive superapp combining delivery, ride-hailing and other verticals, modelled on international operators such as Gojek, Grab and Pathao. It was founded by Fahim Saleh. Technical work spans an on-demand delivery platform, logistics technology, ride-hailing systems, food-delivery ordering and mobile superapp development. Operations are concentrated in Lagos, Nigeria.
