HBM Nigeria Plc, formerly Lafarge Africa Plc, is one of Nigeria's leading cement and building materials companies, headquartered in Ikoyi, Lagos. Its history goes back to 1959 and the West African Portland Cement Company, and it makes cement, ready-mix concrete and aggregates under brands such as Elephant, AshakaCem and PowerMax.
The company took its new name in 2026 after Holcim sold its majority stake to Huaxin Building Materials Group. It is listed on the Nigerian Exchange and has installed cement capacity of about 10.5 million tonnes a year.
