Your key responsibilities

• Supervise laboratory activities and testing operations.
• Advise management and projects on material engineering matters.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality and environmental requirements.
• Manage training and development of laboratory personnel.
• Oversee testing plans, documentation and reporting.
• Support resolution of material-related non-conformities.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and internal project teams.

Job requirements

• Technical certificate plus 15 years' work experience, or a degree in civil engineering or as a construction materials engineer (advantage).
• 10 years' experience with a bachelor's degree in leading a construction materials laboratory.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage teams, multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Good knowledge of material testing, standards and quality requirements.
• English at B2/C1 level.
