The group employs 11,000 people drawn from 100 nationalities and serves customers in more than 50 countries, with products distributed in over 180.
Its portfolio is organised under several brands: Biospringer, which covers yeast extracts and culinary taste solutions; Fermentis, which supplies yeast and fermentation products for brewing, wine and spirits; Gnosis by Lesaffre, which develops yeast-derived ingredients for health and nutrition; Phileo, which focuses on animal health and nutrition; and Leaf. Technical work spans fermentation science, yeast and microorganism biotechnology, industrial biotechnology, food science and applied research.
Innovation capacity is concentrated in 10 research centres and 65 applied science centres worldwide.
