Network International

Network International is a digital payments provider based in Dubai, offering merchant acquiring, card issuing and payment processing across the Middle East and Africa.

Network International is a digital payment solutions provider serving the Middle East and Africa. Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Dubai, the company originated as a subsidiary of Emirates Bank and has grown into what it describes as the region's largest fintech company following its merger with Magnati in October 2025. It operates in more than 50 countries, with a presence in the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, South Africa and Egypt.

The company's work spans merchant acquiring, card issuing and payment processing. Its products include merchant services and payment acceptance for businesses, physical point-of-sale terminals for in-store payments, e-commerce payment processing for online merchants, digital wallet solutions for electronic and mobile payments, and mobile SDKs that allow developers to embed payment functionality in applications. Technical domains covered by the business include payment processing, POS terminal technology and card scheme certification and integration.

Network International was the first independent vendor in the Middle East certified by both Mastercard and Visa for payments, and maintains active memberships with the JCB and UnionPay card schemes. The company listed on the London Stock Exchange in April 2019 at a valuation of £2.2 billion and was acquired for the same amount by Brookfield Asset Management in September 2024; it now operates under a Brookfield-led consortium.
