Verod Capital Management is a West African private equity and venture capital firm founded in 2008 and headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria, with a presence in Ghana, Kenya, Côte d'Ivoire and Mauritius. The firm partners with high-growth, middle-market companies led by strong, results-driven management teams, aiming to create sustainable growth alongside positive social and environmental outcomes. It manages more than $364 million in assets across three funds and has made more than 40 investments.

The firm operates through two investment platforms. Verod Private Equity backs established businesses in consumer staples, financial services, healthcare, energy and industrials, with investments of $15 million to $30 million. Verod-Kepple Africa Ventures, its venture capital fund, invests between $250,000 and $7.5 million in tech-enabled startups across FinTech, logistics technology, HealthTech, EdTech and software.

Verod was the first West African signatory to the UN Principles for Responsible Investment, and the first private equity fund worldwide to attain 2X Certified 'Best-in-Class' status for its gender lens investing.
