Zap Mobility

Zap Mobility sources, finances, maintains and deploys electric vehicles in Nigeria, and builds EV charging and solar energy infrastructure for private buyers, businesses and mobility operators.

Zap Mobility is a Nigerian electric-vehicle company that works across the full EV value chain: it sources, purchases, finances, maintains and deploys electric vehicles, and builds the charging and solar energy infrastructure needed to run them. Headquartered in Surulere, Lagos, and a subsidiary of Townfive Investments (Nigeria) Ltd, the company serves private buyers, businesses and mobility operators in Nigeria, with an eye on the wider African market.

Its commercial offers take several forms. Private customers can buy electric vehicles directly from the company. Ride-hailing drivers are supplied with fully serviced electric vehicles for use on the Bolt platform. Corporate clients are offered end-to-end electric fleet solutions. In parallel, Zap Mobility is developing a 1,500-vehicle electric fleet intended to support large-scale operations across the country.

Alongside vehicles, the company designs and maintains charging infrastructure for homes, workplaces and fleets, and provides solar energy solutions for customers seeking to reduce their reliance on conventional power. The work spans several technical domains - electric vehicles, EV fleet management, charging infrastructure, solar energy and clean transportation - across electric mobility, ride-hailing, fleet management, energy and automotive.
