African Management Institute
Pan-African social enterprise founded in 2014, delivering practical business, entrepreneurship and leadership learning to managers and businesses across 39+ countries, with offices in Nigeria and nine other countries.
The African Management Institute (AMI) is a pan-African social enterprise that provides practical business learning to managers and entrepreneurs. Founded in 2014, it designs and delivers learning programmes that combine flexible online courses, peer engagement and application in the workplace. The institute reports having reached more than 40,000 businesses across over 39 countries, with offices and on-the-ground presence in 10 countries, among them Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa and Uganda, as well as operations in Francophone West Africa.
Its work falls into three areas. Workplace learning programmes are delivered for companies, organisations and impact partners and have reached over 40,000 businesses. Entrepreneurship and business growth programmes support enterprises from micro-businesses through to corporates. Executive and leadership development programmes serve managers and leaders in African companies. AMI's technical work spans digital and workplace learning platforms, business and management education, and entrepreneurship and leadership development.
AMI partners with hundreds of leading African and global companies and operates across the business and management education, enterprise development, corporate training and impact sectors. Over more than a decade it has focused on turning learning into measurable results for African enterprises and workforces. The Financial Times has recognised it as one of Africa's fastest-growing businesses. Further information is available at africanmanagers.com.
