Habaripay Limited is the fintech arm of Guaranty Trust Holding Company (GTCO), one of Nigeria's leading financial institutions. Founded in 2018 and officially launched in June 2021, the company builds digital payment solutions that enable African businesses of all sizes to collect payments across point-of-sale, online and mobile channels. Its technical work spans payment processing infrastructure, PoS payment technology, online payment gateways, mobile payment solutions and super-app development.

The company began with Habari, a super-app that served as its original product at launch. In 2022 it pivoted to HabariPay, with Squad as its flagship offering: a payments product that lets merchants accept transactions through PoS terminals, online platforms and mobile solutions. Since its June 2021 launch, the business has reported significant growth and reached record profits.
