Role Summary
The Kids Zone Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing all aspects of the children's ministry (Kids Zone) at the assigned campus. This role creates a safe, engaging, and spiritually enriching environment where children can encounter God, grow in faith, and build lasting friendships, while supporting parents and partnering with campus leadership to deliver an excellent Sunday and midweek experience for every child.
Key Responsibilities:
Attraction
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate curriculum, activities, and programs that draw children to Christ and keep them excited to return.
• Coordinate special programs such as holiday outreaches, kids' camps, and Vacation Bible School.
Membership & Assimilation
• Own the registration, check-in/check-out, and safety/security process for children in Kids Zone.
• Track attendance and follow up on first-timers and returning families to encourage consistency.
Discipleship & Engagement
• Implement approved curriculum and teaching plans that build children's spiritual foundation and biblical knowledge.
• Partner with parents as co-disciplers, providing take-home resources and guidance for faith formation at home.
Volunteering
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise Kids Zone volunteers and teachers.
• Conduct regular volunteer meetings, appreciation activities, and ongoing development/coaching.
• Ensure all volunteers complete required safety and child-protection screening before serving.
Music
• Coordinate age-appropriate worship, songs, and creative elements for Kids Zone services.
• Work with the music/production officers to ensure a fun, well-produced experience for children.
Administration
• Manage the Kids Zone budget, supplies, curriculum resources, and room setup.
• Maintain accurate records (attendance, incident reports, volunteer files) and ensure compliance with child-safety policy.
• Provide regular reports and updates to the Head, Campus Next Gen.

Requirements

  • A committed Christian with a clear passion and calling for children's ministry.
  • First degree or its equivalent in any discipline; a background in Education, Child Development, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years' experience serving or leading in a children's/kid's ministry setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience, including volunteer leadership.
