Oze

Ghanaian fintech Oze builds a mobile business management platform for African SMEs and an AI-powered lending and credit-scoring platform for banks and microfinance institutions.

Oze is a Ghanaian fintech company that builds software for small businesses across Africa. Its work splits into two product lines: a business management platform for African SMEs and an AI-powered lending platform for financial institutions. The company has offices in four African countries - Ghana, Nigeria, Rwanda and Madagascar - and describes its expansion as continent-wide. It says it runs the largest online community of MSMEs in Ghana.

The first product, delivered as the Oze Mobile App, gives small businesses tools for digital bookkeeping, invoicing, inventory management and digital sales. The second, Oze Originate, is an AI-powered lending management and credit-scoring platform used by banks and microfinance institutions to inform lending decisions and widen SME access to capital. Technical work spans AI/ML credit scoring, mobile app development, lending management software and digital bookkeeping.

Oze is ISO 27001 certified. It was named to the 2025 Norrsken Impact 100 list, partners with the African Development Bank to train entrepreneurs in the region, and is backed by investors including Visa and DEG. The company states a mission of helping small businesses in Africa grow.
