Technology Specialist and Developer (C#/.NET) — TTC Tech, Abuja, Nigeria. Full-time. Fully on-site in Abuja; relocation to Abuja required; no remote or hybrid — candidates unwilling to relocate or work on site should not apply.

ABOUT THE ROLE

TTC Tech is seeking an experienced IT engineer and developer to develop and support an integrated, multi-client system for a major government parastatal. The core technologies are .NET and C#, with Microsoft SQL Server as the database platform. Experience with, or an understanding of, workflow software is a strong advantage.

The successful candidate will have a strong command of C# and hands-on experience with client-server desktop and web applications. They will take part in the analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of the company's platform technology.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop and test new application features.
• Design and implement software projects in C#, writing efficient, reliable and maintainable code.
• Build workflow engine services in ASP.NET Core, covering process initiation, task assignment and routing, approvals and escalation.
• Implement regulatory business processes (registrations, renewals, licensing and approvals) from documented requirements through to production deployment.
• Develop and maintain the SQL Server database layer, including multi-schema designs, audit trails and connectivity to multiple databases.
• Implement, test and fix defects in existing functionality, including legacy components.
• Support and troubleshoot the network infrastructure the applications run on.
• Work as an active member of an agile Scrum team and communicate regularly with everyone involved in the development process.
• Provide support to end users.

REQUIREMENTS

• A First Class degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field from an accredited university.
• At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience building or maintaining workflow, BPM, case-management or approval-routing systems.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET, with strong hands-on experience in ASP.NET Core (.NET 6 or later) and Entity Framework Core.
• Solid knowledge of computer networking (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, firewalls and network troubleshooting).
• Experience with relational databases, SQL and ORM frameworks.
• Web development experience with HTML, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery and AngularJS/Angular.
• Experience developing web services (REST and SOAP).
• Strong grasp of OOP and design, MVC, design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Enough familiarity with legacy ASP.NET Web Forms (.NET Framework 4.8) to support existing components.
• Proficiency with Git and Visual Studio 2022.
