Unmutedco

Unmutedco is an urban digital broadcast, content and service company founded in 2018. It builds tools, services and platforms - including media, AI and educational products - for underserved Black and brown communities and minority-owned businesses. The company was formed as a merger of independent media and content firms, and its founding team brings more than two decades of combined experience in independent media and content.

Its work spans several technical domains: AI solutions, digital media platforms, digital broadcast, digital transformation services and education technology. Products include NoirTube and Unmuted TV, media and broadcast platforms within the Unmutedco ecosystem; UnmutedAI and FannieLouAI, AI offerings for businesses and communities; Unmuted Academy, an educational programmes platform for minority-owned businesses; and professional services supporting businesses and brands through digital transformation.

The company reports reaching seven out of ten Black and brown Americans each month and a total user reach of 200 million. It operates across the United States and Canada, with presence in Atlanta, Georgia, New York and Toronto. Its stated focus is bridging the digital infrastructure gap for Black and brown communities, combining technology, media and education in a mission-driven approach to serving underserved audiences and businesses.
