UX Woman

UX Woman is an education platform and community that makes UX design accessible to women, immigrants, BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals. Founded by Samaya Sinha and operated under Ideate Innovation Labs LLC, it runs UX/UI design courses, apprenticeship programmes and career coaching aimed at helping members move into tech roles. Its work spans UX design, UI design, UX research, design education and mentorship.

The flagship offering is the 7-Month UX Design Accelerator, a comprehensive UX/UI design course programme. Other programmes include UX Career Catalyst, a self-paced career coaching programme; a Free Apprenticeship Program, offered at no cost; and Weekly Mentorship for learners within the community. A VIP Entry-Level UX Jobs Board lists more than 400 curated entry-level UX opportunities for members.

Outcomes are tracked through placements: alumni have gone on to employers including Google, Nike, Verizon, CVS and Reddit, with some securing six-figure UX roles. The community also runs the annual Women in UX Conference alongside regular UX design events throughout the year.
