VillageReach (USA)

VillageReach is a non-profit global health organisation founded in 2000, strengthening primary health care systems and supply chains in six countries, including Nigeria.

VillageReach is a non-profit global health organisation founded in 2000 and headquartered in Seattle, Washington. It works to transform health care delivery so that everyone, particularly people in underserved, low-resource communities, has equitable access to health products, services and information. Its approach concentrates on strengthening primary health care systems, and it operates in six countries: the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria and the United States.

The organisation's technical work spans supply chain logistics, health care technology, public health, business operations and health systems strengthening. It develops, tests, implements and scales innovative health system solutions designed to address critical gaps in primary health care delivery in low-resource settings; these solutions have been deployed across six countries. It works collaboratively with governments, partners and communities rather than in isolation.

VillageReach employs more than 180 professionals and is registered as a 501(c)(3) organisation. Its stated vision is a world where each person has the health care needed to thrive, with a culture built around equity and reaching underserved populations; 2025 marks 25 years since its founding. Its presence in sub-Saharan Africa is significant, with country operations in DRC, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique and Nigeria.
