Established on April 14, 1997, the company has operated for over 25 years, providing depository, clearing and settlement services for equities, treasury bills, bonds, commodities, funds and cash transactions, and acting as the clearing and settlement house for transactions on the Nigerian Exchange Group.
Beyond its core CSD function, CSCS offers electronic document management, collateral management, tax services, corporate actions processing and fixed income fund services. It is Nigeria's endorsed Local Operating Unit (LOU) for the Legal Entity Identifier under the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF). Its digital services include the *7270# USSD code for investor access, biometric capture systems and the CSCS Online Portfolio View for real-time investment monitoring.
