Evidence Action is a global health organisation that implements and scales proven, low-cost interventions to improve wellbeing across Africa and Asia. The organisation operates in 11 countries and has reached over 530 million people. Its model focuses on implementing only solutions with demonstrated effectiveness, partnering closely with governments to deliver programmes at scale.
The organisation's two primary programmes are Deworm the World and Safe Water Now. Deworm the World delivers treatments to children, having provided over 2 billion treatments at a cost of less than $0.50 each, generating an estimated $23 billion in productivity gains. Safe Water Now provides access to clean water for 9.8 million people, with its reach more than doubling in an 18-month period.
Evidence Action employs over 900 people and is recognised as one of the world's most effective charities. Its approach is defined by rigorous research and constant iteration, using evidence to inform every decision and aiming to deliver outsized impact for every dollar spent. The organisation's work has contributed to saving over 16,000 children's lives.
